Chapter 2

We got to the restaurant, and as soon as the food arrived, I dug into my plate without any fuss. I was starving, but something in the air felt off. My eyes wandered discreetly around the table, hoping Fernando would sit next to me. Over the last few days, he’d been dropping some hints my way — and even though I was still married, I loved that seduction game. Maybe, deep down, I was scouting a plan B for the future.

But to my surprise, he picked a spot next to Clara, and from then on, he focused all his attention on her. The conversation flowed like me and Manu weren’t even there. My friend and I exchanged confused looks, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. We’d worked together for over a year, and Fernando had never acted like this before.

He was hitting on her without shame, throwing loaded glances, smirks full of mischief. With every word, every gesture, he made a point of ignoring us.

“Ih, boss, I think we’re extra here,”

Manu laughed, raising an eyebrow, amused by the whole thing.

“I’m seeing that… Come Monday, I’m sending his ass to HR,”

I joked, grabbing my sake glass and taking a long swig, like that could ease that weird feeling of… jealousy?

Clara, quick on the uptake, jumped into our chat.

“HR only counts if there’s a victim,”

she replied, biting her lip in this almost theatrical way, totally playing into it for him.

“Ah, just go get a room, you two!”

Manu blurted out, getting impatient.

And that’s exactly what they did.

They left without much explanation, but we knew damn well what was coming next.

“And where’s Tommy, boss?”

Manu asked, propping her elbow on the table, her eyes full of mischief.

I rolled my eyes and sighed before answering.

“He’s not coming. He’s out playing with his buddies.”

Manu frowned and took a sip of sake, sizing me up.

“He’s not big on tagging along with you for stuff, huh?”

I let out a dry laugh, feeling the booze warm my throat.

“Not for anything…”

“Nothing? Zilch?”

She arched an eyebrow, her tone mixing curiosity with a bit of concern.

I sighed deep and ran a hand through my hair, a little bothered by the realization.

“It’s rough, girl… but I don’t wanna talk about it now. Tonight, I just wanna drink till I drop!”

Manu flashed a big grin, a naughty sparkle in her eyes.

“It’s been forever since I did that. Wanna head back to my place and get wasted?”

“Fuck yeah! Let’s do it?”

I got hyped right away, feeling the adrenaline pump through my veins.

We paid the bill in a rush, laughing like a couple of teenagers plotting a wild night. If Fernando and Clara had dipped out to have fun, why couldn’t we? And that night, what I wanted was to fill the tank!

On the way, we stopped at a liquor store and bought way more drinks than two women would need for one night. Getting to Manu’s apartment — which was the coziest little spot on the planet — we kicked off our shoes in the corner, cranked up the music, and started pounding them back.

The plan was to get shitfaced, but reality hit different: by the third round, we were laughing less and talking more. The hyped-up vibe of the night faded, and suddenly there we were, sitting on the living room floor, sipping slow and shooting the shit.

“Relationships are tough, huh, girl?”

Manu sighed, swirling her glass. “I’ve been single for two years!”

My eyes went wide.

“Two? For real? You’ve gone two years without getting laid?”

She laughed, shaking her head.

“Nah, come on… I hook up with folks from Tinder. But I’ve got the shittiest luck.”

“That’s sad, girl…”

“I’m turning full-on lesbian, ‘cause guys are a fucking nightmare!”

She said, throwing her head back and cracking up at her own idea.

The tease hung in the air for a second before I asked:

“And you’d actually go for a woman?”

Manu raised an eyebrow and smirked.

“I’ve kissed… but when things got hot, I froze. I don’t know, think I chickened out. You?”

I shifted on the floor, biting my lip, feeling the alcohol loosen words I maybe shouldn’t say.

“Never hooked up… I’m curious, but I don’t think I’d have the guts to… you know, go down… that stuff.”

The words hung there between us, and that’s when it hit me. These talks never came out of nowhere. Manu was the type who got tipsy and horny. And, to make it worse… so was I.

The silence between us wasn’t awkward, but it carried a different kind of tension. The unspoken kind of anticipation. The low music, the warm glow of the apartment lights, and the booze in our blood made everything… easier.

And it was her who broke the silence first, with just a crooked smile and a look loaded with mischief.

“What the hell’s that slutty face, girl?”

I asked, narrowing my eyes, amused.

She let out a nervous giggle, looking away, while I noticed the flush creeping up her cheeks.

“Nothing…”

Manu tilted her head a bit, her dark eyes scanning me, full of that naughty glint that always showed up when she drank.

“You wanna hook up with me?”

I swallowed hard, biting my lip, not sure if I should laugh or be straight-up.

“Maybe…”

She laughed low, inching closer, the heat from her body starting to reach mine.

“I’m married! Have some respect.”

I joked, trying to hide the shiver running up my spine.

“I didn’t ask you shit.”

Manu shot back without breaking eye contact, her voice lower, more drawn out, full of intent.

I let out a shaky sigh, a mix of excitement and nerves washing over me.

“God, I’m so nervous! Ahhhhh!”

I exclaimed, laughing, throwing my head back, trying to shake off the tension.

And then, it happened.

The two of us, between smiles, decided to give it a try.

The kiss started hesitant, like we were both testing the waters, seeing what worked and what didn’t. But one extra touch, one bolder slide of tongue, and shit caught fire.

My heart raced. My mind screamed that if one of us didn’t like it, this could be a problem. But deep down, we knew any screw-up could just get blamed on the drinks.

We kissed.

And it wasn’t just any kiss. It was hot, wet, slow, like I was exploring unknown territory that felt weirdly familiar. Her kiss was soft, the touch tender, and in that moment, I felt safe, wanted, wrapped up in a way I hadn’t let myself feel in ages.

There was passion in that surrender. Something that took me back to my youth, first dates, that thrill of discovery, of losing my breath over something new and forbidden. And of course, my body didn’t take long to react.

Even if it felt strange, I could feel the desire building in waves. My chest heaved against hers, my skin tingled with every touch, and… my pussy throbbed, hot and pulsing. I was wet, giving in, feeling every inch of my body wake up under her teasing. My control — the one I swore I’d keep — slipped from my hands with every second.

But…

Something deep down nagged at me.

I had a thing about pussy. And that was exactly the detail that suddenly made my brain scream alert in the middle of that delicious haze.

I froze.

“What is it?”

She asked, her voice husky, lips still close to mine.

I took a deep breath, heart pounding in my chest.

“Fuck, I’m so turned on…”

Manu didn’t answer with words. She just buried her face in my neck, sliding her hot lips over my goosebumped skin, kissing behind my ear, nibbling slow, knowing exactly how to take my breath away. Her hand started roaming over my dress, still on top of the fabric, fingers tracing a slow, teasing path up to my tits.

“Grab here, damn it, put some effort in!”

She said, taking my hand and putting it on her own chest.

I let out a laugh, surprised by her boldness, and at the same time fascinated. My fingers touched her warm skin, feeling the soft swell under her clothes.

The first thing I noticed was how different the groping was. More subtle, more on point. It wasn’t the clumsy rush I was used to; it was a game of teases, touches that knew exactly where to land. Her wandering hand hit the right spots, lighting up every part of me with a precision that caught me off guard.

I was lit up, on fire, swept by a wave of desire that built fast. But what pulled me in most was the feel of our bodies together — the softness, the smooth slide of skin on skin, the way our tits pressed against each other, sending little sparks through my whole body.

And then, in a burst of courage, I pulled back a bit, sat facing her, and blurted out:

“Wanna do this right? Let’s take a shower? We’ve been in the same panties for over twelve hours, right?”

Manu’s eyes went wide, surprised, but she quickly broke into the biggest, naughtiest grin I’d ever seen. Her eyes sparkled, and she jumped up like a kid excited for a forbidden game and yelled:

“Let’s go!”
